There is no Deformed Cloud

This newspaper design project is inspired by how poets and writers describe clouds, exploring the idea that each cloud, like every person, is unique. There is no "wrong" form, only endless variations in appearance and personality.  In this newspaper, I have transformed the clouds from their writings into human-like figures—not judged by right or wrong, beauty or imperfection, but simply carrying their own stories.

This idea is influenced by Alan Watts, who suggested that when people lack confidence, they should see themselves as clouds:

“You have to regard yourself as a cloud, in the flesh. Because you see, clouds never make mistakes. Have you ever seen a deformed cloud? Did you ever see a badly designed wave? No, they always do the right thing. But if you treat yourself as a cloud or wave, and realize you can't make a mistake, whatever you do—even if it seems disastrous—it will all come out in the wash somehow.”
