The project is both a typography design and an installation/product design, inspired by the Chinese traditional festival — Zhongyuan Festival/Ghost Festival. The design draws upon the important rituals of the festival, such as burning paper, praying for blessings (floating lanterns), worshipping gods (temple and shrine ceremonies), and the inheritance of filial piety (community theater).
This project aims to combine these rituals with modern daily life objects, offering a new way to celebrate traditional festivals in the modern age, connecting traditional culture with modern urban life, and thus achieving cultural inheritance.
这是一个结合字体设计与装置/产品设计的项目，灵感来源于中国传统节日——中元节。提取了该节日的四个核心仪式：烧纸、放河灯、拜神（道观与寺庙祭拜）与看社戏。根据这四个仪式的目的/核心精神关键词进行设计。
本项目旨在通过将户外的传统仪式与城市日常生活中的物品相结合，为现代家庭提供一种便捷且具有文化深度的节日庆祝方式，将传统文化与现代城市生活相连接，从而帮助中元节文化在现代都市中的传承。
